Founded in 1972, the Singapore Business and Professional Women's Association (SBPWA) began when a group of working women came together to support one another and advance opportunities for women in business and the professions.

Our founding President, Ms Caroline Lam, envisioned bringing women's organisations together to strengthen their collective voice. SBPWA has been a member of the Singapore Council of Women's Organisations (SCWO) since the early 1970s.

Today, SBPWA continues to bring together women from diverse professional backgrounds and different stages of their careers and lives.

We provide a platform for meaningful connections, professional development, knowledge sharing and collaboration, both locally and internationally.

Beyond networking, we believe in using our collective experience, skills and networks to support education, empower other women and contribute to meaningful causes in our community.
