WHO WE ARE

  • The Singapore Business and Professional Women's Association (SBPWA) is a not-for-profit business organization with ties to the Singapore Council of Women's Organization (SCWO) and the International Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW).

  • An influential international network of business and professional women from over 100 countries in 5 continents, the International Federation of BPW has Consultative Status at ECOSOC/United Nations. Founded in 1930, BPW International develops the professional, leadership and business potential of women on all levels through our mentoring, networking, skill building and economic empowerment programs and projects around the world.

  • In line with international goals, the focus of SBPWA locally is to develop a strong community of business and professional women by providing valuable global networks and purposeful enrichment.




CNY WITH A HOLISTIC TWIST!

We kicked off the Chinese New Year celebrations with a unique, holistic touch.

A big thank you to the International College of Holistic Health for guiding us through the art of mindful calligraphy and introducing healthier (and even more delicious) variations of the traditional Lo-Hei and pineapple tarts.

It was an enriching experience all around!

HAPPY 94TH ANNIVERSARY,

BPW INTERNATIONAL!



BPW celebrates its 94th anniversary on the 26th of August.

BPW International was founded as International Federation of Business and Professional Women IFBPW in Geneva, Switzerland, on August 26, 1930, on the initiative of Dr. Lena Madesin Phillips.

As President of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs of the United States of America, she organized several "Goodwill Tours" to Europe in 1928 and 1929.
